Weekly Devotional
Anchored in Peace
Scripture for the Week:
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” — John 14:27
Day 1 – Receiving Peace
Peace isn’t something you earn—it’s something you receive. Jesus offers it freely, even when life feels uncertain. Today, instead of striving for control, pause and accept the peace already being given to you.
Reflection: Where am I trying to control instead of trust?
Prayer: Lord, help me receive Your peace without resistance.
Day 2 – Letting Go of Anxiety
Worry often feels productive, but it rarely changes anything. God invites you to release your burdens, not carry them endlessly.
Reflection: What is one worry I can surrender today?
Prayer: God, I give You what I cannot fix. Replace my anxiety with trust.
Day 3 – Trusting God’s Timing
Waiting is hard, especially when answers feel delayed. But God’s timing is never careless—it’s intentional and precise.
Reflection: Where do I feel impatient right now?
Prayer: Father, teach me to trust Your timing, even when I don’t understand it.
Day 4 – Finding God in the Ordinary
Not every moment is dramatic or life-changing—but God is present in the quiet, ordinary parts of your day.
Reflection: Where did I notice God today, even in small ways?
Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to Your presence in everyday life.
Day 5 – Strength in Weakness
You don’t have to be strong all the time. God meets you in your weakness and provides strength where you lack it.
Reflection: Where do I feel weak or overwhelmed?
Prayer: God, be my strength when I feel like I have none.
Day 6 – Choosing Gratitude
Gratitude shifts your focus from what’s missing to what’s already been given.
Reflection: What are three things I’m grateful for today?
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for the blessings I often overlook.
Day 7 – Resting in God
Rest is not laziness—it’s trust. It’s believing that God is still at work even when you stop.
Reflection: Am I allowing myself true rest?
Prayer: God, help me rest in You without guilt or fear.
Closing Thought
Peace isn’t found in perfect circumstances—it’s found in God’s presence. This week, return to that truth again and again.
